Srbija se nalazi na šestom mestu među 20 najbolje rangiranih zemalja prema nivou stranih direktnih investicija (SDI) kojima se obezbeđuje otvaranje novih radnih mesta u 2016. godini. Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo učvrstilo je svoju poziciju evropskog lidera prema nivou SDI.

Prema rezultatima istraživanja kompanije „Ernst and Young” o atraktivnosti evropskog tržišta (European Attractiveness Survey) koje je sprovedeno 2016. godine, u Srbiji je ukupno otvoreno 16.396 novih radnih mesta, što predstavlja rast od 54 posto u odnosu na 2015. godinu.

Serbia was ranked at sixth place among the top 20 destination countries by Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in job creation in 2016. The United Kingdom reinforced its position as Europe’s FDI leader.

According to the European Attractiveness Survey conducted by Ernst and Young in 2016, Serbia created a total of 16,396 jobs which represents a 54 percent growth compared to 2015.

The highest FDI job creation rates were in Ukraine (435%), Austria (251%), Moldova (220%), Switzerland (146%), Turkey (142%) and Italy (92%). 

Prema podacima Međunarodne asocijacije za kongrese i konferencije (ICCA), Srbija je u proteklih šest uzastopnih godina bila rangirana među 50 najboljih kongresnih destinacija u svetu.

Imajući u vidu da 66 međunarodnih udruženja održava kongrese u Srbiji, nalazi se na 48. mestu u svetu i 25. mestu u Evropi.

Uz Dubai, Glazgov, Roterdam i Boston, Beograd je rangiran na 51. mestu na listi, sa 50 održanih kongresa. Novi Sad, drugi najveći grad i kongresna destinacija u Srbiji, nalazi se na 279. mestu u svetu i 148. mestu u Evropi.

According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), for the past six consecutive years, Serbia has been ranked among the top 50 congress destinations in the world.

With 66 international associations holding conventions in Serbia, it ranks at 48^th place globally and 25^th place in Europe.

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) donirala je Vladi Srbije 3.630 tona pepela koji će se koristiti za izgradnju Koridora 11. Vlada Srbije usvojila je Uredbu o upotrebi pepela u građevinarstvu i izgradnji puteva u Srbiji, ali ova sirovina još uvek nije korišćena u navedene svrhe.

Količina koja je donirana državi čini više od polovine godišnje proizvodnje pepela srpskih termoelektrana. Štaviše, procena je da na srpskim deponijama ima oko 200 miliona tona raspoloživog pepela. 

The Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) has donated 3,630 tons of ash to the Government of Serbia to be used for the construction of Corridor 11. The Government adopted the Regulation on Ash Use in Construction and Road Construction in Serbia, however, this raw material has never been used for this purpose thus far.

The quantity donated to the state is more than half of the amount produced annually in Serbia’s thermal power plants. However, it is estimated that there are approximately 200 million tons of ash available in Serbian landfills.
