Nikola Tesla Airport expects 5.5 million passengers

Nikola Tesla Airport served almost one million passengers in the first quarter of 2017, thus recording an increase in the number of passengers of 10% and number of flights by 3%. These data suggest that the company might enter the category of airports with over 5 million passengers a year at the end of 2017.

“The first three months of 2017 show that we are winning the trust of passengers and airlines even more quickly and successfully than last year. A remarkable increase in the number of passengers of 10% says that we are sure to enter the category of airports with over 5 million passengers a year,” said acting director of the Nikola Tesla Airport Saša Vlaisavljević.

Belgrade international airport is completing the works on new transportation systems and modern counters, self check-in and luggage handover kiosks, all to the end of making each passenger satisfied.
