Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to open representative office in Serbia

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry will open a representative office in Belgrade in 2017 to help Emirati investors and businessmen who seek to invest in vital sectors in Serbia, revealed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber. Al Mahmoud was speaking at a seminar on investment opportunities in the Republic of Serbia, which included the attendance of the special advisor to Serbia’s prime minister, Marko Cadez, president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, top chamber officials and representatives of 50 UAE companies and associations.

Al Mahmoud said that Abu Dhabi Chamber is very interested in the development of areas of cooperation between investors and companies in Abu Dhabi and Serbia. Further, Marco Cadez called upon UAE companies to increase their investments in Serbian markets and take advantage of the assistance provided by the authorities for foreign investors. Additionally, a representative of Mirabank in Serbia and President of the Executive Board, Dr. Ilinca Rosseti, spoke about the available investment opportunities in Serbia in the agricultural, tourist and banking sectors. Mirabank was also one of the organizers of this very successful conference.
